Naw. Just keeping a very close eye on my broody while she's hatching eggs. The other girls steal her eggs to encourage themselves to lay. That's my guess. This is the first time I have ever spent this much time really and truly observing chicken behavior. Very odd and unusual. BTW-two girls were cut off from the coop and were seriously desperate to lay eggs by the time I got out to the run. I observed one of them actually panting. It was like a line up at my house to use the toilet! I have never seen chickens lay that fast! LOL!
