I jiust got 6 black star pullets an building a coop 6 ft by 4 ft with 4 nestiing boxes that roll and a run that is 6 ft by 24 ft is that ok?

I'm out in Yuma as well, I'm building a 10x20 run and the coop is 4x8. Not planning to get more than 6 hens since, City limits only allow 6. I'm planning to leave the top 1 foot facing the run of the coop open with wire mesh. I bought a solar exhaust fan that I'll mount parallel to the opening mesh. I love, love, LOVE your planters! Are they bottomless? I just bought a similar garden container (bottomless) but I could only find them about two to 2.5 feet high. I wanted 3' ones. Finally! A place to put the chicken poop! I'm layering it with sawdust - I "let" the electric co dump their wood chips here, hehe! It will make a fine garden next year.
