I just can't figure these out!! Barnevelders girls or boys or one of each?

Both the Silver Barnevelders are cockerels. The other cockerel in question appears to be an Olive Egger produced from a Black Copper Marans, evident by the coloration and the feathering on the legs.

Well, if it makes anyone feel better I kept trying to convince myself that maybe, just maybe, the smaller boys with the not quite so large combs were actually girls until about 7-8 weeks, despite the expert opinions on the “what breed/gender” forum otherwise. Once they start to crow there’s no denying it though they are mostly well behaved boys though, and very pretty!

Yeah I'm super excited to hear my boys trying out their first crows!
