I just don't get candling. Need an interpreter, please.

this is what I have been using to candle. It works great. Shines plenty of light into the egg and because it is so small I dont have to remove the eggs from the turner, just touch the light to the end of the egg.

My Mother-in-Law thinks she got them at Home Depot, it was xmas and she was collecting things for stocking stuffers. Either that or maybe Costco... She wasn't sure.

And, I just pop it into my car's cigarette lighter and it charges, no fuss, no muss and no dropped eggs cause I don't have to pick them up.

i tape a piece of cloth to my flashlight so that i can put the eggs to it and they go directly to the light without not bieng able to with the glass in the way
