I just got 3 sexlinks... 1 week old... is this normaL?

How much should I feed them? they have been eating every last bit of strter feed ive given them, should I have a limit?

Also, what treats should I be giving them?

Feed them all they will eat! Very careful with treats for a while yet. Get their crops full of the starter and keep them full! They are a lot smarter than I am: they know when to stop eating!

They are pigs with feathers! My sexies emptied the feeder twice a day when they were chicks!

Just a quick note, lots of the food gets pushed out of the feeder. You'll find it in the bottom of the brooder when you go to clean it. I put a frisbee under my feeder and I don't have to fill it up half as much.

My dad is gonna help me with this post.those chicks sat on my lap for over an hour in the truck when we met your dad.

Those chicks are 2 weeks old today. While they are sexable by color I'm
not sure they can be considered true sex links. There dad was a Barred Rock/
White Rock cross and there moms are RIR/BR crosses. The people who we get
those eggs from have worked hard on their flock abd created what they call
a perfect bird. We will all see about that.

They are piggies. Most chicks at 2 weeks go through growth spurts and
eat a lot. Your chicks brothers and sisters are still in the brooder in our kitchen
and going crazy.

I grind up oatmeat and hand feed it to all my chicks from day 2. This seems
to help them become more hand tame and trust us more.

Sorry me and Drumstick didn't get to meet you today. Your dad was a great guy.
How many fathers would drive an hour to pick up chicks for their daughters?

Hahaha, well I want t thank you guys so much for letting me take over three of your babies. They are wonderful and so much fun. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there. My mother and I were up around Boston with our breeder. I cannot wait until the chicks get a bit older, mabye next easter it will be their eggs we'll be coloring! Ill be sure to send you lots of pictures :]
