you may want to use caution when introducing chickens to youngsters. chickens have been known to sleel the hearts of both little kids and grown up kids alike. i should know, it happened to me when i wasn't even looking. all i did was go out with my cousin to collect some eggs at about age 5 and now that im older i have been accused of being a "crazy chicken lady" if you don't believe me, just ask DH

thank you!! The class LOVED the chicks, it was quite a distraction because the kids just fell in love with the babies! Great day in middle school math for sure!!
