I Just Got A 1st Egg!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I am so excited

this evening at feeding time I happen to look under my 19 week olds house, I figured they were getting close to laying.
It's a good thing I did because the prettiest tiny brown egg was laying on the ground. I had ordered the surprise pullet special from Ideal and they arrived here on Jan.30th! I told hubby that this is what I was striving for

but sadly I don't know which girl to thank

of these possible breeds which one could it have been? Black Astralop, light brahmas or delaware? I am so happy right now

My guess would be the Black Australorp.

Unless you watch and see who is there, it's anyones guess. Do you have nest boxes? When mine started laying I put a camera in the coop and could watch who went in and out of the nest boxes. I hooked it up so I could watch them on the TV.
