Yes, her eyes are fine. They are just closed in this picture. It looks nasty but she is eating and drinking.

Poor baby!! You could always mix up some electrolytes for her too! A little boost never hurts when you're recovering!

Gatorade or the like?

I usually mix up some water with molasses but I've heard of people using Gatorade or pedialyte!

gatorade is fine. hopefully she will make a full recovery!

How's the little lady doing?

The wound is looking better. She is eating and drinking and has definitely perked up.

We will keep her separated for awhile still then move one hen in with her and see how it goes.

She really like melon but only seems to eat it when I'm holding her and offering it to her.
