I think it was a texas rat snake(chicken snake)... I finished cleaning up behind my chicken and goat pen and thank god there were no more snakes.... not sure if I could handle finding another one so soon...
thanks...I miss bob but at least I now know what happened to him and I no longer have to worry or wonder...
