Last time they sent her back home for me to take her back in the morning, this time they asked if I wanted to leave her overnight. I'm going to go afterwhile and get a med collar for her, last time it was a mess.

That's a shame. When I worked as a vet assistant we saw that all the time. At leats it's treatable. Just need to be sure it can't bust open while it's healing...guess you've found that out. At least she's older...maybe easier to keep quiet?
Good luck!

I asked if it could reoccur, and they said the way they repair it, that it's possible, but highly unlikely.

Last time we had it done (to the other ear), we didn't have an e-collar, they didn't even recommend it, and she wouldn't leave it wrapped, and would shake her head and scratch, and we had blood everywhere. I just got back from buying an e-collar, I'm not going to let that happen this time.

Edited because I can't spell.
