My 22 month old found a purple Sharpe yesterday, and the yellow walls in my kitchen were 'decorated'. My four year old daughter was never this bad.

He also found a red lipstick from my daughter's dance recital kit and decorated his lips, and an Aladdin book. I feel for you! Good luck!

My class did an experiment with marshmallows in the microwave 2 years ago. We were testing the internal temperature of marshmallows, pudding, and a 3rd item, of their choice. When we took the mallows out and inserted the thermometers they blew up in our faces! We were all covered with nasty sticky white stuff, thank heavens for disposable paper lab coats, I wouldn't have wanted to explain to parents how their kids clothing got ruined!

How wonderful! You have a bright curious child with a supportive mom who lets her discover the world!!!

(My kids are grown out of that stage so I can say that

OMG! Red glitter! Glitter does not easily come off at all. My daughter is 5 so she likes all things glittery lol. You think you got it all cleaned up and still its all over! Thats not nearly as bad as what my son did when he was almost 3 and my daughter was nearly 1. He was potty training so I was having him run around in pull ups and a shirt to make it easier. Both kids were in the playroom, my daughter in her playpen, and my son watching cartoons while I went to make lunch. Well the few minutes while I was making lunch, my son had to poop, so he did and took his pull up off and decided to paint his sister with it, and the whole playpen too. My daughter was just covered from head to toe. I wanted to cry, I wanted to gag lol. I had to call my mom to come help me clean them up and the playpen and carpet. I dont know what possessed him to do it, I guess it was just there and it looked like something fun to play with. So don't feel too bad, things happen. It could be worse:D

Kids do the darndest things! One time when two of my boys were 3 and 1, I went to bring the other kids to school, and let me son who was in Middle school, keep an eye on them. His school didn't start till 9:00. I had this 25lb bag of flour in the dining room. He was watching tv, and not paying attention to his little brothers, when they opened the bag of flour and threw it into the box fan we had on the table!!! Let me tell you, I was speechless. Any way, I made my oldest stay home and clean up the flour all over the dining room and kitchen. He was very apologetic (sp) to say the least! I guess all of us with kids, should have some really good stories to tell! Don't ya just love being a parent?

I LOVE letting kids be kids! Think of the memories they'll have! Here's my 2 oldest when they were about 5 and 3.

I might have been the one who dug the hole for them and filled it with water
