I just noticed this... Is this normal?

One of my 5 NH Red Hen chicks is considerably larger than the other 4... Sould I be worried about the smaller chicks getting enough feed? They eat out of a feeder (I always make sure it is full) and they are 3 days old.

if there is feed out all the time, free choice then food isn't a problem. i always seem to have one that just grows faster then everyone else and a runty one that is slower to mature. three days old is a short time to be worried that all are not getting enough feed.

just make sure that it is available 24/7 for chicks.
