We ordered an assortment of bantam cochins from ideal back in mid-may. Their all starting ot lay already and a few have been laying for a month. Little eggs, takes about 2 to make just 1 medium sized egg. We ordered them to hatch turkey eggs, so hopefully they'll cooperate.

I have an order coming from Ideal on the 29th also....lol....looks like we are keeping them busy. I have 10 Dark Cornishes, 10 Brown Leghorns, and 5 Conchin pullets(for brooders) coming. I am so egg-cited

Mine were from Ideal . . . I started with 8 bantam cochins, but only two wound up being hens so I had to eat the rest. I adore hatchery quality bantam cochins . . . don't much care for the show quality ones. I know you'll love yours

Love your cochins, they're gorgeous! Thanks for the pictures. I've only ever had hatchery birds, and I couldn't love them any more if they were show quality.

I called several weeks ago and they had a few of the ones the website said they where out of. My original order of faverolles last week where dead on arrival so they are reshipping this week. so YES call them and ask.
