I just want to post my PICTURES!

Some of them are a mystery to me what they are. The white crested black there (Vanilla Ice we call..it) is just a polish I think. Though you never quite know when you get them from someone with mixed breeds.

If it comes from some one with mixed breeds, won't they all just be mixed? no pure breeds?

x2. If they "throw" all their birds together, there is like a %5 chance you'll get a pure bred if you have a roo and a hen of the same breed.

And the leftover percentage will be mixed.

I don't even think it is a 5% chance.lol.
My WLH rooster is so annoying he never mates with my leghorns!

I think she just has all of her polish in one pen together. So you get white, black etc. The same with her silkies. Vanilla Ice is a character. His twin didn't make it and passed away during the cold weather (RIP Sugar Ray). But there was definately some mixing going on with the frizzled guys. Polish frizzles I think.

I had them out today in the warm weather. They were the happiest of chickens. And when I came back in the evening...they were all in their pen without having to be chased. I think they behave better then my kids sometimes.

Oh O.K you just get a mixing of colors of one breed. Got it. Sorry about Sugar Ray, love the name but
