We were hoping our ayam cemani will turn out to be a roo, too! I have my doubts though - which is hilarious. Usually folks wish they only get pullets. Her/his dad is apparently super gentle and protective. I was like, if I get a rooster - that's the one I want! Instead, I think our ermine ameraucana is showing some early roo signs.

Can you share pictures of the ac? When we picked up ours there were a bunch of ac roos, they are so pretty!

I mean... look at this little Ayam Cermani roo. He's just perfect (I say roo, because I am hopeful putting it out in the universe will make it so... hehe)

I have an Amish friend who breeds them, they are very cool birds! I am thinking about getting a couple for myself!

Hi! Do you know if your chick turned out to be a roo yet? Ours is showing no real signs of roo, just a small quiet little hen so far lol, but she's only 6 weeks.
