I am so sorry your little birdies did not make it after the accident. I hope you can find it in your heart to see a new chickie soon so it will melt you heart a replace the thought of this happening. I have had the same thing happen. It hurts us just as much as loosing a puppy. Thanks to creation we can look on and mend with a new friend. fondly

I would have been more understanding and forgiving if someone else had accidently done it, but had to get on myself for being that dumb!

My heart goes out to you and your chicks, how is your head? Could have really hurt yourself, a really good blow to the head can send you to the hospital. Do you think it needs a look at by your doctor?

Just more emphasis on how fragile chicks are. I hope I do OK on my first ones that are coming in 39 days.

I'm so sorry.

I had a accident with my older chicks when they was 3 weeks old. I had them outside for little while. I thought I was keeping a close eye on them. But my stupid tom cat got one.
