Hello my name is Hope I'm new on here and I have a total of 6 chickens already and my neighbor gave me 10 eggs have no clue on the breeds but I'm incubating them and it is only day 3 and I have a very big problem. I really don't know how to fix it. My temperature and humidity keeps fluctuating and it keeps going from 89 to 100.5 even to 101.4 and humidity is between 30 and 65. But usually when it hits Temp Okay it's usually 99.6 or 100.5.

I have 10 eggs in there.

Also #8 cracked when we went to candle it (shell is super thin) patched it with super glue I had no tape nor candle wax.

You could add some heat sinks to your incubator. A brick or bottles of water are good options. They absorb heat and help to stabilise the temperature.

Get an independent thermometer and hygrometer as the ones on incubators are notorious for being incorrect.

Your glued egg will either develop or not - just keep an eye on it that it doesn't start to develop then die. Remove it if it does die.

Depending on the make and model of your incubator, they can be really inaccurate. I have 4 small thermometer/hygrometers that I found on Amazon that do a great job.

Thats a great effort of saving it. But its really risky, I am not sure if it can still survive after that.

I second this. I use a water bottle and a blue reusable ice pack in my incubator. I also have two digital thermometers, a glass thermometer, and a meat thermometer that I calibrated with ice water. One of the digital thermometers is consistently 2 degrees lower than the rest but the others match the calibrated thermometer.

You can see the bottom of both the water bottle and the reusable ice pack in the first picture and the ice pack in the second
