Probably a Fisher. It got right into their henhouse, it wan't very secure. It was 30 years old and falling apart lol
Even though they weren't our chickens, I still feel awful, we were taking care of them that week. It's so weird, that they were alive one day and dead the next.
I'm afraid to bring their hen back that we were caring for during our chicken-sitting. (She could not walk due to a previous fox attack) I've grown attached to her and don't want her to get eaten by anything
So in a way I know how you feel. The very idea is enough for me. RIP daisy

I'm sorry about the attack. You did the best that you could given the circumstances, you couldn't stand guard 24 hours a day.
