ramirezframing Thinks that Smoky is a male Sumatra. Honestly I think Smoky is the most roo-ish of all the bunch.

So, the chicks are 11 weeks old now and are starting to really show their gender. We gave away Penny and Smoky since they were fighting all the time and keeping a ruckus going in the coop. We still have the three others and I thought it would be educational for other people out there like me, trying to figure out this chicken thing, to see how they are changing.

I love these boys! Hoping against the odds that they'll just stay super sweet to me and to each other. There's plenty of room in the coop. Little Nugget always sits between them. Her bodyguards against the grownups.
