I had really hoped we were through with the really bad tornado weather after last week, when we had them back to back for 3 nights running! I was hoping for a little longer break! That squall line is almost on me, charging thru LA all morning. Last week when the power went out for 3 hours, I cracked open my circulated air inc., wrapped it up in blankets and held 90 degrees. When I saw that the power was not going to came back on after 30 minutes, I went out in all that horrible weather and fired up th generator. We bought it for the hurricane season. Folks around here are pretty sensitive about hurricanes, after Katrina, which gave us all a lesson in preparedness. We don't have a lacadasical attitude toward it anymore, that's for sure. I found out the generator comes in pretty handy for all these spring storms too. Last week a tornado bounced off of my area and hit the nearby town of Magee, destroyed 160 homes, but, Thank God, no fatalities! Looks like the same potential is just about here right now. all you folks in AL, GA, and SC... look out!! I sure hope it dies out some before it getse to ya'll.
