Okay, I am hoping somebody can help me out. In May of this year of ordered 9 goslings from Metzer Farms to be delivered in June. I hand raised them so that they would be very comfortable around people and to make them pet temperment. Unfortunately tonight I returned home to find all 8 remaining goslings had been slaughtered by what appears to be teenagers. This is a tragedy to say the least and the kids are a wreck over losing there pets. PLEASE if you breed geese or have any fertile eggs contact me ASAP. I know it is late in the season but I have searched everywhere. I will pay a very good price to anyone who can help me out. I don't care what the breed is, please contact me if you can help.

Thanks a lot,
Patrick

I am sorry for your and your family's loss and hope they find the monsters that did this.

Also, if the villians are not caught, you really need to secure the area where you keep your geese prior to brining any new ones home; so the new ones do not meet the same fate.

It is very late in the year to find goslings. You may be able to find some younger juveniles in your area on the Farm and Garden section of Craigslist.

Also, posting your location would help those BackYarcChicken folks be able to help you.

Good luck.

I have 3 young Chinese goslings that are just starting to feather. They were late hatches and I have been trying to sell since I am going to just concentrate on Pomeranians. The original parent stock came from bargain on here. They were raised by me so are fairly tame. I do ship poultry so if you are interested let me know. I was asking $60 for all 3. I know how hard it is to lose them late in the year. I lost all my Pom goslings late last yr and had to start over this yr.
