hot enough to hatch a turtle egg??? LOL!

My BIL found it a couple weeks ago, guess a coon dug them up.

We just put the egg in our kitchen window on that piece of tile & forgot about it. They other day I woke up & found a baby turtle in the sink,lol.

I put him in a bowl of water with a catfish pellet. I put a nickel up under the bowl to show how tiny he is.

We live on a bayou & I let the little one go.

They don't get real big,but they are some kind of snapping turtle.We have tons of them along our bank.
