I know smoking is bad for you but somtimes its bad for your bator too.

LOL, I laugh now but was so P.OED at myself I was smoking (I know its bad for me) and checking my bator I needed to add some water so I bagan to add some with cigg in hand I touched my cigg to the bator (Its a styro LG) Melted a big hole in it Not all the way through.

I am wondering will this effect my incubator? I tried to see if air was going through it by putting my mouth on the spot and blowing into and it does no seem to be allowing air in. Wow, i feel so dumb..LOL

Just a warning NEVER SMOKE WHEN ADDING WATER TO THE STYRO BATORS..LOL

Im not shure if I should scold you or hug you or laugh at you.
How big is big ? quarter sized , dime sized , apple sized ? I dont know how it will effect it , I think if its not all the way thru it should be ok though it may lose more heat in that area if its big enough , someone else should know

You can get a piece of styrofoam and cut it to fit the hole and tape it in there with some good ole duct tape! Accidents happen and lessons are learned from them, ridicule does nothing to help, good luck with the patching!
