Thank you so much for sharing your pics, and bless you for keeping a wonderful habitat for the owls. We have a Barred Owl at our zoo in the education dept. Her name is Hootie, and she is really aggressive. I love listening to her hoot though.

How neat! I love owls, and it's so nice of you to leave their nesting site intact.

I had an owl that would sit on the chicken coop at night and wait for the mice that would come running along the edge to get at the spilled feed. I loved having him there, and he's the only thing I miss about our move. We have owls here, of course, but none who are so willing to faithfully guard my coops against rodents like that. They are gorgeous, aren't they?

What a beautiful picture. I know we have owls here, but Ive never seen them. Just yesterday, I was sitting outside watching chicken TV and I heard....hooo hooo hooo hooooooooooo.

So I know they're here somewhere. I love birds of prey, they are magnificent.

That is really neat! We have great-horned, barn and eastern screech owls here. I rarely see them but I hear them regularly in the summer when the windows are open.
