I know, spring is like 5 months away but I love to plan this kind of stuff. So, My backyard is currently I mudhole becuase the chickens have eaten all the plants and there is a huge hill that is collapsing onto the lawn( or whats left of it). I need some help planning my backyard for next year, after we get the run built. I am all into practicality so I want plants that will produce but also look pretty. I am also trying to think of some stunning centerpeice plants to put among my producing plants so My backyard looks nice. What can you think of?

Well I dont know but have you checked out TheEasyGarden.com Its a sister site to this one and I am sure everyone there will have great advice! Nice to see your from The beautiful state of Oregon...lots of greenery there! I would say ferns but thats just my favorite!
