well colten ill tell you what i know.

the smart thing to do is start out with baby keets ( baby guineas). you feed them game bird started 28% protein if i remember correctly.
then once you think it is time to take them out to the coop leave then in there for 6 weeks. they once theyve been in their coop for a minimum of 6 weeks you just let one out. that one wont go far because they are very social birds. then in a couple of days let another one out with the one that has been out for a while. then in a couple of more days let another one out with the other 2 and so on and so forth. you cant get a guinea to shut up. thats just what they do.

well i could be wrong but i dont know.

It is always best to start them as keets since you can handle them and there is a good chance they won't ever be aggresive towards humans. And if your chickens are full grown i would wait till the keet are around 1/4 to 1/2 in size like the chickens. ANd when you first put them together watch them to see the chickens reaction. If it seems the other birds are beating up on them i would take them back and probably keep them away from the other birds for about another week or two.

Colten, they have similar requirements as chicks, only they need higher protien like 26+ % found in gamebird or turkey starter. They do OK on chick starter, but don`t grow as fast or as big. Heat and space is the same as chicks, but they grow faster, so give them room. Good luck......Pop
