I know this is a bizarre question-but....

Two weeks ago 2 of my older hens got curled toe paralysis-seemingly from feed that was old or otherwise didn't provide nutrition. I'm working on this with vitamins, better feed, etc. and have taken one, Felicia, to the vet. She still has one toe curled under (the other hen, Fatty, improved already).
We know CTP is nerve damage from lack of vitamin B2. So far so good. But this week I have developed numbness/pins and needles in my right foot and hand. Some possible causes are B vitamin deficiency (lots of other possible causes too) Of course it could be a coincidence, but are there any things you can think of that might have caused both chickens and me to develop essentially nerve damage one week apart? We live near a large dairy farm that is having extensive construction. They drink treated water (UV light and salt) and I drink bottled water but occasionally drink a sip or two of tap water. I know this sounds crazy but people here have much more medical knowledge than I do-maybe something will come to mind.

Curled toe paralysis and walking or sitting on hocks can be a sign of B 2 riboflavin deficiency, but can also be a sign of nerve damage or possibly Mareks disease. As far as your possible nerve issue, I cannot really answer that but could be nerve compression, limb falling asleep, or circulation.
