So the boys are gone (no more roos

) and a new girl joined the flock...today I finally let "the new flock" free ranged. They are cooped up most of the day in a 5'x10' run 5'x4' coop and what do they do? They go into the small cage, the one I had the new girl in (so they could meet each other!)

all cramped up!!! I had to take them out! lol

not really 100% sure....she/he is @ the bottom of the pecking order, even now that the boys are gone, her comb was smaller than the confirm roo ee yet a little bigger than the confirn hen...who knows!!! lol...but then again the body of "the confirmed hen" looks rooish to me! lol

Juan! I like your screen name!

Good looking family, flock and assorted pets (your BYC page).
I noticed you have chicken nipples on a pitcher- I made mine about 2 months ago, and boy what a difference
it made...clean and dry living for the girls!
Speaking of girls, I agree with you, and think the white EE looks like a hen, and the orange EE looks like a Roo (saddle feathers?).

Have fun!
