You're good at chicken math! I lost 1 and got 2, but they're Jersey Giants so I think they can count as 2 or 3 by themselves! Enjoy your flock, sounds like you have a great variety!

Congratulations on moving to your acreage; acquiring mine was one of my best-ever moves. It looks like you have a great place, a great set-up and a lovely flock.

My Speckled Sussex and Easter Eggers are among the eight brooder chicks I'm eagerly hoping to get outdoors IF the weather ever warms up and dries out. BTW, I was going ONLY to buy 2 Buckeye chicks this spring, so I say, embrace your chicken math!

Love it! I had all 16 in my main floor bathroom in a pack n play. It was certainly motivation to get the final things done to the coop and move it. Our weather is currently sad and cold too (37 now) looks like after today the week improves. I’m ready for spring and also glad to know it stays warmer than outside in the coop.
