Have you gone looking for her? She could have taken off to brood or a predator could have carried her off. It usually is the favorite birds. I lost my favorite bird to a fox. I never did find her body but did find feathers when I went looking for her. I still beat myself up for not putting her back in her pen when I was distracted. No more free ranging here. It broke my heart too much when I lost Gladys. Good luck...
