Well, I've been busy lately, and the buttons were ignored for the past week. Yes, I did change, feed, suppliment, water, etc, but the birds themselves had been ignored. Even my brooder and the chooks and adult coturnix had gone with only a few minutes of play time each day, besides the maintenance. Well, tonight, I go to check to see if I could get that foamy stuff from the buttons to sex them, and realised that my favorite cinnie roo had disappeared. How he did, I don't know. Well, I decided to sex the rest of them to get rid of roos that I didn't want, especially since my baby was somehow missing, I wasn't happy about keeping a bunch of roos anymore. Anyways, I pulled out the one strange button that I've caught a glimpse of here and there over the past week, and couldn't remember where that one came from. Finally, DUH, it's my favorite cinnie roo! He's just all "growed" up now.

He's already getting nice and blue, and I think he's actually a red breasted cinnie roo. I feel like an idiot now, but, I'm glad my roo isn't missing after all! Oh well, in my defense, I'm sleep-deprived, worked like crap the past few days and I'm a little "foggy", lol.

awh im so glad he just changed colors on ya!!!

Also sorry ot say but button quail roos dont express that foamy stuff like coturnix do if they did that'd be a great way to sex them but nope sadly not!!!

I was going to offer you my young cinny roo if you did loose him I woulda saved up and shipped him for ya myself! LOL!
