18 years is a very long time for a cat. Rest assurred that she had a great loving owner like you!

thank you all of you for the hugs and kind words-It means so much to me. I am happy that it wasnt a long drawn out thing and was very quick and at home in my arms, I know how lucky I am for that-but Im just missing her so much, my other cats and dog are comforting me but she was my special one and she knew it

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I put my sixteen-year-old kitty down just a few months ago, so I certainly know the pain you're going through right now. I had been with that kitty since I was six years old... I still think I see her sometimes out of the corner of my eye, only to realize it was a shadow or something.

It's so strange not having her around after her being with me almost as far back as I can remember.

I'm sorry her passing was so sudden, that always makes things harder. It's good you got to be with her at the end, though. She might have been waiting to pass until you were there, I know animals do wait sometimes like that.

You'll meet her again on the Rainbow Bridge...

wow so many of you lost your old precious babies in the last few months and you are doing the same as me. I keep almost calling for her and then realizing she isnt there, I keep looking for her in all her favorite spots and everything-this is still hitting me hard. I do agree with you Silverphoenix that she was waiting for me since it was so soon after I found her she passed-I know it was her comfort spot and she just knew it was ok then. So sorry to all of you who have also lost your kitties and thank you so much for all these kind words and I hope all of our babies are up there playing together
