I love chickens

Hey guys, I love chickens..but my family runs a business that processes them. just wanted to say hello and hopefully learn and share advices.

Don't feel bad about what your parents do. You can LOVE chickens and harvest them.
There are many folks on BYC that specialize in raising meat chickens just so they can raise they own food.
Some folks have their chickens as pets and would NEVER dream of eating them.
There are other folks on here that are trying to raise show quality chickens. They end up eating their culls. . .

What we all share here is a LOVE of chickens... WELCOME aboard!

According to a poll a couple of years back, maybe 7% to 8% of us on this forum raise chickens for the meat as well as other things. Pets and eggs topped the list as reasons to have them.

There is even a section on here specifically for Meat Birds. I bet you could really help some people out with their questions there.
