Hi and welcome from Lancashire, north west England.
I've two large dogs, two fat cats, three fantastic chickens and three fish in the pond. Every time the dogs go out in the yard the chickens run up to the fence to 'talk' to them, but if the dogs push the fence with their noses, they get pecked. I would love more chickens but cannot realistically go above 4 (the manufacturer of the coop said 6 large hens - but they always over estimate the size) and don't want to add one lone chicken to three established ones.
