I use huge rabbit waterers for the chooks and also for the chicks...I was a little worried about the duckling managing the waterer but they got the hang of it almost immediately...would this work for a bigger duck though? They'll have access to a small pool of some sort but I would still feel better knowing they had some fresh, clean water available. (I'm amazed with their immediate reaction to water already...I put them in the sink or bathtub for a swim and that instantly start a poop fest!)

They would probably get the hang of it, but they do love to drink out of their nasty, poop-filled swimming pools. As long as they have a water source large enough for them to dip their entire head into, they'll be fine.
