I didn't think it had anything to do with mortality, just feathering

I know the tufting gene(araucana) has the mortality problem but that isn't related to this breed....

do sizzles lay decent eggs?

(I want an interesting-looking chicken, but she has to lay eggs to be worth it .... our cochin still isn't laying at all, and our silkie EE lays little eggs.)
