I love my chickens...

What quirks do your chickens have that you love?
I'll start...
Mine have a habit of following me when I'm holding a food container, empty or full.
They also like to fluff up their feathers and lay in the sunshine.
And, they like to help each-other preen, and always stick together.

What I love about my chickens...is...EVERYTHING! But I especially love the way they run up to me in that funny way of theirs whenever they see me, how they’re always following me wherever I go, how silly and adorable they look when they dust-bathe, how they always find some way or another to sneak into the house, and oh, so much more!

I only have one and it happens to be a rooster. We have been inseparable since he was born in July. When we are sitting down watching TV and I get up to go get something, he stands up, looks at me and starts puck, puck, puck. LOL I swear he be talking to me. Like, where you going woman. LOL

What's not to love?! The way they give you those puppy dog eyes, snuggle on your lap, stare at you with love, they are so soft, they follow you around where ever you go, their adorable beaks and faces...too many reasons.
