I love my colored eggs!!

Finally all 5 of my girls are laying and the eggs are starting to stock up. As I filled up the egg carton today I couldnt help but admire how beautiful they are! I am getting brown and pink eggs from my 2 BA's and my 3 EE's are laying olive, turquoise and blue.

They are so pretty I had to brag! Thanks for letting me share!

Burbs, I love your photo and your dark eggs too! Are those Marans? I am going to add 1 or 2 to my flock this spring.

cwhit, the eggs were from friends. They have a small flock and 1 roo...so far all of his offspring are laying various shades of blue/green depending on what color the hens eggs were. They're bringing me more eggs in a week and I cant wait to put them in the bator!

For mutt chickens they are sure efficient layers and I love the character the colors add to the egg basket! Since my EE's started laying last month they are giving the BA's a run for their money!

I have a few co-workers who arent as enthusiastic about the colored eggs though lol. You should see their reaction to the blue and green eggs!
