the ducky room
i was away for the weekend (came home saturday to feed them and give them a bath) because i had family here from Missouri and we were all at my grandparents about an hour from my house. well when i came home last night, i had some very very happy duckies!!! it was sooo cute and it was the best valentines day present. (i hate valentines day. i am always single) coming home to one happy drake and one happy duck was better than anything i coulod ask for. of course my room looked like a poop bomb went off, but i wasn't too mad, even with poop on my pillow from quackers sleeping on it lol.

i can see evidence on quackers neck of them having some valentines day alone activities. luckily Billie my baby bunny was with mom so she didn't see any x-rated duckie action!

mine will be outside when we move! i will be sad. i love having them inside

I will miss having my babies inside. One last lot of eggs due in two week, and thats it for hatching for a few months. At least it gives me time to organise the spare room for next spring. I love my ducklings being in the house...but I will not miss the smell.

lol.. i can't even smell it anymore HHAHAHA when we move i will miss it too

My outside adult ducks used to come running to the back gate when they heard the car pull up. But they are in a different section of the yard now..I miss my welcome home committee.

awee. lol put them in your bedroom HAHAHAHA i'm kidding. idk how big your room is, but there could be a possibility of no one having room lol. my room is pretty small. i have a futon and i sleep with it in "couch position" otherwise no one would have room to walk!

Lol my husband does not allow the duckles into the house. Even though there's only three. But they know I'm a soft touch and wait outside the back door to rush in when I open it. They streak into the house and have a good mooch into everything. When I try and herd them out, they pretend they don't know what direction I'm herding them! Evil geniuses I'm telling you! They're all like where? You want me to go where? Through the kitchen and into the front room? With a quick stop to mooch round the veg box on the way? Well alright then if that's the way you want us to go! And I'm all GET OUT, GET OUT THE BACK DOOR, YOU KNOW WHERE I WANT YOU TO GO!!
I would love to convert the house to be duck friendly. Like tile the whole thing with drains in the corners so I can just sluice the whole room out!
