We got our first chicks in march. We had no clue. Backyard helped so much to educate us. What I had no idea was how much I would fall in love them! We just bought 9 more babies all hens. Our first batch we ended up with 4 roosters be cause we bought them at a tractor store. However I love my roosters they are all sweet, have such personalities jump on our shoulder. I would get more roosters if they didn't need so many hens per rooster.
