Another Free book for Kindle. It might have been written in the 1850's but has some good information which still holds true by today's standards.

I'm definitely living under a rock. I had to google the word "kindle" to find out what on earth it was...as I was reading this and seeing nothing about campfires or fireplaces. It was only last year (2011) that I discovered what an ipad, ipod and mp3 were. I still find my 1984 walkman to suffice, along with my 1980s cassette tapes (at least the ones that haven't had the ribbon scrambled up). I don't even like game stations - and wish they would have just improved on the Etch-A-Sketch. My husband and I do play some online games, but other than that I pretty much stick to my e-mail, Facebook and Backyardchickens (no idea what is out there in the world of inventions).

That being said - I think I need to "spread my wings" just a little bit, as I would really like some audio books to listen to. I have 6 on cassette tape, but when you've been listening to the same ones for the last 20 years - they become redundant. I do enjoy reading - but my eyes don't enjoy focusing.

I may just ask hubby if we can treat us to a kindle for Christmas.
