I made a stupid mistake and I lost my whole flock

The pop doors could work. The coop we have that has the doors on pulleys and wires uses gravity to keep close and they - were never compromised when closed so maybe the raccoons don't comprehend lifting a door. Raccoons are very smart little pests though and very strong. They can pull back wire like it is nothing unless it is very well secured. I think they are related to bears.
