I made my coop yard look a little better

Every time I let my chickens out, they scratch up holes and throw dirt on the walkways that makes it look messed up all the time. So I threw out a bunch of extra bedding and covered the walkways with it. Now it doesn't always look messed up I think.

Seems like the bedding would be a mess when it rains and gets wet. Did you put it down before this last rain we had or since? Don't guess it would be any worse than mud though.

I wonder how gravel over the entire area would be. Hummmmm

Yes, it did fine in the rain. I do rake it around to refill holes, but it looks more like a farm yard and not a dirt pit IMO.
