I made the incubator and it has been running for days. I am regulating the temp on a thermometer./hydrometer that I got at hardware store. I saved some purebred banty eggs and am ready to go but..............(I called Walmart last week they said the water wigglers would be in this week) Walmart has no water wigglers and wont get them in for another 3 weeks to a month.

I have tried everyplace in town and a big fat zero. I even tried to get a used one and no luck. Would anyone have any ideas or be willing to send and sell me one? Thanks

You can always take a ziplock bag of water folded over and secure with rubberbands or tape to simulate a water wiggler. I got mine at the dollar store.

its a 99 cent item you can buy at walmart if you live in a warm area of the country-for the rest of us in the summer-it looks like a fat finger and when you are incubating eggs you use the digital thermometer probe in the incubator and you stick it in the middle of the water wiggler-this will tell you the exact(or close) internal temp of the eggs in the incubator.
