If this is hobby you want to keep pursuing then you need to start doing the research. I'm not from your state and I have never been to there website and I just found the cost in less then 5 mins. To me that means you haven't reviewed the things like you should. You need to pay closer attention.

I have a friend that works for the department of agriculture so he knows about most of the permits, but the ones I need he doesn't know of.

I wonder if you need have a ceritain amount of property to own bobs here in Texas. I was going to get the permit, but need to know the land regulations, I would love if you guys can help. Please.

You only need property if you are releasing. If you are just doing it for fun and selling a few that is normally a different permit.
