Hedging my bets, this is my last stab at this until the spring. I have black mottled D'uccles, Red Laced Blue Wyandottes and a bunch of eggs my chickens laid, don't know which hens laid what but there could be Leghorns, Lavender Orpingtons, Rock Reds and possibly a little silkie. I had one silkie rooster and one Lavender Rooster.

We will see!

First candling shows 26 of 36 eggs with obvious veining. Couple of the brown eggs are so dark I just can't tell for sure. It is day 6, none of the D'uccle eggs are showing a spark of life.

Oh boy! Fall chicks!! I have 7 paint silkie eggs two with a broody, and five in the bator. They're going to be in lockdown starting tomorrow.
