We love our eggs too! Our girls are laying about 30 eggs a week. We aren't buying store eggs anymore, but it stills bugs me that they are selling eggs for 99cents! That is so cheap, I guess you get what you pay for. I don't think we will ever be able to go back to yucky store eggs.

We aren't getting enough to feed all of us yet with only 5 girls laying, so I use store eggs for baking and boiling, and good homegrown eggs for frying and scrambling. Our young girls are 16 and 20 weeks today, so they should add to our hen berry numbers soon. Before I know it, I'll have 32 girls laying! Woohoooo
