Wow! What a save! A miracle little chick!
Its surprising who resilient they are. Don't feel to bad, you were just throwing out some messy eggs that happened to be hatching haha! At least one little baby survived, and hopefully the rest will to. Next time you will only be more careful.

I can't believe it pulled through! My husband had previously worked on a chainsaw so there was rags with grease, oil, and gas all over them in the dumpster.
