I met another BYC'r yesterday!

Happy Friday all!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Airheart43. What a nice afternoon we had. I got the grand tour of the chicken area, which was very nice and filled with a variety of beautiful girls and boys. Penny layed a lovely pale green egg while I was there and just made me green with envy

she then proceeded to tell everyone what a good chicken she was (very loudly!). Then it was off to lunch..Great food, great conversation, and great company! All too soon I got a business call and had to head back to my end of town. Just wanted to tell you all that if you have a chance to get together with another BYC person, I hope your visit is as nice as mine was. Thanks Colleen. Oh I forgot, I came away with an incubator, so soon I will be looking for eggs to hatch...now to decide which kind....hmmmm.

I love seeing the actual people behind the name! I'm usually always surprised at how wrong the picture in my head is of them! LOL I've actually been able to see the same people over and over again at poultry shows. I tell you, you can sure make some good contacts on these chicken boards!

About wrong images in our minds about the people from BYC we meet. I met seattlearies and we both laughed because were were both expecting each other to be stereotypical middle aged Caucasian females. Instead, we both showed up in two door Japanese coupes and were young Asians!

What a wonderful "family" we have here!
