I Met MissPrissy!...

Just thought I would let you all know I met MissPrissy today ...She is such a nice person...not only on here but for real!!...I had spoken to her about a young blue orpington cockeral and pullet I was growing out.. So we met up with her and her family today...she took myself and DH to lunch....gave me the nicest gifts of homemade goat soaps she had done and a beautiful blown out Christmas ornament egg she did....I also set her up with some hatching eggs so lets keep our fingers crossed she has a good hatch!...

Thanks again MissPrissy...It was a great afternoon seeing you...We will do it again for sure....

We had to cross 3 ranges to get to the small place where we planned to meet. Here is the view from 1000ft over the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

This one is my 10 yr old making a movie with full commentary. She is so diligent in her tasks at times. LOL

We had lunch here.

The pork plate sandwich was delicious!

Then we got down to the chicken bidness!!

Doesn't TuffOldHens hands look so loving as she strokes his feathers to say goodbye?

We had a great day!!

MissPrissy...I painted my nails just for you!!..I always tell my hubby my nails look horrible anymore...he says its working with the chickens and all the chores I have to do with them!!...says can't have both prutty nails and chicken duty!!...

Do I ever miss those mountains...I am from the smokies smack dab in the middle of them, and use to ride the blue ridge parkway with my daddy when I was still at home in TN.
